ABOUT THE AUTHORS:
Dr. Vikram Reddy Vaka is a clinical psychiatrist, unit director, and research chair for a prominent psychiatric hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry, the American Psychiatric Association, and the American Medical Association. He has over a decade of experience working with people hospitalized as a result of suicide attempts, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Major Depression, Substance Dependence, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Adult Autism & Developmental Disorders, PTSD as well as a decade of experience with motivational, cognitive and behavioral therapy. His prior experience includes Co-Chief Resident at the University of Florida, Assistant Professor at the Ohio State University, Wright State University, and Case Western Reserve University with experience teaching and supervising medical students and nurse practitioners.

​Dr. Sujasha Gupta Vaka is a neuroscientist by practice and an engineer by training. She has a multidisciplinary background that includes a Master's in Materials Engineering from the University of Florida, a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from the Ohio State University (OSU) and has developed and utilized cutting edge techniques to study the brain at OSU, Johns Hopkins University, Walter Reed, the private sector, and for the US military.
